HTCIA Conference Wrap Up

The presentations and labs were awesome plus I met some really great people. In addition to all the great talks, they give you some great software and a year of online access to the Wireshark University.

I traveled there with Ed from @hunterforensics who won most of the raffles there. :) I attended several talks on ediscovery and forensics in the cloud. This is definitely a growth area and one that needs more research. Stay tuned for additional research from Bright Moon Security on this topic.

Davi from gave a great talk on “Future Trends in Cloud Forensics”. I also gave my talk on Knowledge Management (KM) for Incident Responders and Investigators, although it was the last session of the conference, the audience was very engaged and we had some great discussions on how to build a KM program and ways to implement a personal KM program.
